What ReelBolt does
Every job a video team does, handled by AI agents — and reviewed before it reaches you.
The team
A good promo video is not one job, it is a dozen. Someone has to understand the product, decide the story, write the words, pick the shots, design the titles, grade the picture, and choose the music. ReelBolt gives you a specialist agent for each of those roles, and they work on your video at the same time.
For bigger decisions, several agents argue it out before committing — a cut, a set of on-screen graphics or a colour treatment is debated from different angles instead of being the first idea that came up.
Editing
Record your demo in one go, mistakes and all. ReelBolt watches and listens to the whole thing, finds where you paused, restarted or lost the thread, and keeps only the moments that carry the story. What comes back is tight, properly paced, and cut on full sentences rather than mid-word.
If you shot several takes, it recognises the repeats and keeps the best one. You never scrub a timeline looking for the good bit.
Design
Lower thirds, headline cards, callouts pointing at the thing you just mentioned — the overlays that separate a polished video from a screen recording. They are placed where they will not cover anything important, and timed to what is being said.
Filming a phone or a laptop in shot? ReelBolt can drop your real interface onto the screen and keep it locked there as the device moves, so the product looks live instead of taped on.
Narration
Not every product video has someone talking on camera. ReelBolt can speak the script for you: the narration the scriptwriter wrote for each scene — or lines you typed yourself — is turned into a natural-sounding voice and mixed under the picture, sitting with the music and the on-camera dialogue instead of fighting them.
It reads exactly what was written, word for word. No agent gets to improvise what your video says, and you pick the voice from the catalogue of the speech service you connect.
Generated footage
A talking-head demo needs something to cut away to. A shot-director agent reads your edit and plans a handful of short generated clips — a cutaway while you keep talking, a cold open before the first word, an end card after the last — and describes each one in plain language. ReelBolt then has them generated by the video-generation service you connect and places them in the cut.
Generated video costs real money, so spending is capped three ways: per run, per project per day, and across the whole installation per day. The price of the full plan is checked before a single clip is bought, and anything over the cap is refused rather than quietly trimmed. Your own frames are never sent to the generation service unless you explicitly allow it.
Privacy in frame
Real footage has things in it you cannot publish: a licence plate behind the presenter, a visitor badge, a screen showing a customer's data, a sign from the office next door. Name what to look for and ReelBolt finds every instance, follows it as the camera moves, and blurs, pixelates or blacks it out — in every part of the finished cut it survives into.
When in doubt it covers more, not less. A tracked object is obscured even when the tracker is unsure, because showing something private is the one mistake a video cannot take back.
On brand
Most video tools hand you an animation somebody else designed and let you swap the logo. ReelBolt works the other way round: it studies your actual product — the screens, the colours, the type, the way it moves — and builds the video out of that.
The result is a video that matches what a customer sees after they sign up. No stock footage of strangers pointing at laptops, no generic gradient that could belong to anyone.
Quality
Every draft is scored before you ever see it. A reviewer agent checks the cut against the brief — does it hold together, does it say what it set out to say, does the pacing work — and anything that falls short goes straight back into production for another pass.
You review a version the system already believes is good, not a first attempt.
Efficiency
Some decisions in a video are genuinely hard — the story, the cut. Others are routine: which of a few colour looks fits this footage, how loud the music should sit. ReelBolt can hand the routine ones to a small, fast decision model and only call the full agent when that model is not confident. A step is taken over only when the model is sure about every question in it; one doubt and the whole step goes to the agent as normal.
You do not have to take that on trust. Run it in shadow mode first, where the fast model answers alongside the agent and nothing changes, and a calibration page shows you how often the two agreed before you let it decide anything. It is off until you switch it on, and it can never fail a video — if the model is slow, unsure or unavailable, the agent simply does the work.
Transparency
Every finished cut opens in a studio view: the picture on one side, and beneath it a multi-track timeline of what the agents decided — which stretches of footage were kept, where the graphics and tracked inserts sit, how the music dips under the voice. You can scrub through it, inspect any clip, and download the render.
It is a window onto the edit, not a replacement for your editor. You are not asked to drag clips around to get a good result; you are shown the reasoning so you can trust it, or send it back with better direction.
Repeatability
The way your video gets made is saved as a reusable recipe. Ship a feature, run it again, and the launch video is ready the same day — same structure, same tone, new content.
Assistant
A chat assistant sits in the corner of every page of the dashboard and knows your projects, your files, your workflows and your run history. Ask why the last run failed and it reads the run and tells you. Ask for a workflow for the files you just uploaded and it drafts one. Ask how something works and it searches the documentation for you.
It never changes anything behind your back. Every edit it suggests — a new workflow, a renamed project, a step added at the end — is shown to you as a proposal first, and applied only when you say yes to that exact change.
Control
ReelBolt does not lock you into one AI vendor. Connect your own provider account and choose which models do the work — including models you host yourself, if your security team requires it.
The whole platform can run inside your own infrastructure. Your product, your unreleased features and your raw footage stay where you put them, and never become someone else's training data.
Everything the platform does is written up in the documentation, from a plain-language user guide to the technical reference your engineers will ask for. More on the thinking behind this on the about page.
